Ashley + Cody’s Lincoln Memorial DC Sunrise Engagement Shoot

Ashley and Cody kicked off the countdown to their October 2020 wedding in style with a beautiful sunsrise engagement shoot at the National Mall.

While waking up early might not be everyone’s cup of tea, in this case, I can say, with complete confidence, that it was absolutely worth the effort, as the start time allowed us to snap plenty of stunning pictures throughout our session. We were also able to play around with different types of lighting.

Ashley wore a perfect-for-autumn-dress, while her husband-to-be stepped out in a terrific suit. The two smooched while toting around their “save the date” sign at one point, which, of course, created a cute result. The fall foliage added another compelling component to many of the photos. And the snap of the betrothed couple on the staircase is pretty sweet, right?
